Discovering Scientology: Financial Success Course

Perhaps financial success doesn't sound very religious, but Scientology is an applied religious philosophy and it can be applied to any area of life. Scientology is there to help people, and being poor is not a very happy state to be in. Understanding money and the handling of it can make a person's life better, therefore there is a basic Scientology course covering the subject which I've found extremely helpful in handling my own financial concerns. My personal income has increased steadily over the years, having doubled in the last 10 years alone. I recently hit a ceiling in my present activities and have begun applying the data of this course to break through. After only a couple of weeks, things have started to happen and tomorrow I fly across the country to several meetings, meetings that a month ago were not even a glimmer of a possibility. Anyway, you can read about the course here: Financial Success Course

Discovering Scientology: How to Maintain a Successful Marriage Course

Well, I think I've managed to apply the data from this course very successfully. My wife and I are even better friends and more in love than when we first got married. In fact just this weekend a friend said we always looked like we'd only been together 6-months. So I highly recommend this course: How to Maintain a Successful Marriage Course

The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR)

July 4th is a day to celebrate freedom and human rights. The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to restore human rights to the field of mental health. They do this by ensuring that criminal abuses are speedily investigated and prosecuted so that people's rights are legally protected. We need that in these days of vast overprescription of psychiatric drugs and abuse of patients, so I've gotten together links to pages covering the subject:

Discovering Scientology: How to Be a Successful Parent Course

Is it okay to boast about your own kids? After all, as a parent, you had something to do with how they turned out. Well, whether it's okay or not I'm going to say that my kids are awesome. They are grown up and living happy and successful lives and I attribute it all to my own brilliance ,,, just kidding. When they were growing up, my wife and I applied the data from the How to Be a Successful Parent Course and it worked. When I hear people talking about the hell of the "teenage" years and the "rebellious years" and other such cliches I honestly have no idea what they are talking about, because my kids never went through any of that. They were not angels, they were normal kids, but my wife and I had to tools to make their growing up a pleasure for them and for us.

Scientology Resources

The press is really talking a lot right now about Scientology. I have to give some credit that their descriptions are getting better (although some of them are still saying the weirdest things). Anyway, here is a link to a very good resource for accurate data on Scientology: Leisa Goodman - Human Rights Director - Church of Scientology International. Go about half way down the page for all sorts of useful links.

An Impartial Description of Scientology

The Ontario Consultants on Religious Tolerance are a group who, as their name suggests, are interested in promoting religious tolerance. With that in mind they write up impartial summaries of religions, their history, beliefs, etc. Their summaries attempt to be accurate but impartial. I think they manage this in their description of Scientology: Scientology - Its symbol, history, beliefs, & practices.

Creed of the Church of Scientology

The word "Creed" comes from the Latin word "credo" which means "I believe". Because Scientology is so much in the news recently many people probably want to know what Scientologists believe, so here it is: The Creed of the Church of Scientology
